Merger Discussions with CMA Manitoba
The Council of the Manitoba Institute has agreed to enter into formal negotiations with the Society of Management Accountants of Manitoba. At the same time the other Provincial Institutes and Societies across Canada are also considering entering into negotiations about merging their respective professional organizations.
In order to facilitate a common approach to these discussions across the country the various organizations will follow a set of guiding principles which have been developed and approved by the leadership of the national CA and CMA bodies. These guiding principles will be followed by all of the organizations across Canada in their negotiations.
