2007 CA Compensation Survey

The results of the 2007 CA compensation survey commissioned by the Provincial Institute/Ordre and CICA are now available.

Nationally, average compensation is up 14% since 2005. While inflation is one of the contributing factors to the increase, it is also a reflection of the value of CAs in the market. CAs are being promoted to leadership positions in the market as it becomes increasingly focused on both accountability and growing profits. Accounting rules and regulations are becoming more complex, increasing the demand for the skills CAs offer.
