Up to five FCA designations may be awarded annually. Fellowship is bestowed upon a CA for service to the profession or for bringing honour to the profession. The FCA designation recognizes the member's distinction in more than one of the following categories:
- the work of the Institute or a similar professional association;
- their career;
- community service, and
- research, teaching, writing or speaking.

Stuart McKelvie, FCA
Stuart received his CA designation in 1985 is currently the Principal of McKelvie Consulting Ltd. Stuart has spent his career specializing in strategic, financial and information technology management and prior to founding McKelvie Consulting he was President of 21st Century Systems Corporation. He was also a proprietor of his own public accounting firm, 21st Century Chartered Accountants, up until merging with MNP in 2003.
Stuart has served as Treasurer of the Institute of Certified Management Consultants of Canada and as President of the Manitoba Institute of CMCs. Stuart has also volunteered his time to many Institute committees, including Professional Conduct, Office Practice Assistance and Professional Development.
Also active in the community, Stuart has served as Treasurer of River South Baptist Church (1986-2000), Treasurer of Manitoba Riding for the Disabled, and Chair of the St. Andrew’s Society of Winnipeg Finance Committee.
He has been a sessional lecturer for at the University of Manitoba (1994-1999) and an instructor for the Business Development Bank of Canada. Since 1984 Stuart has written numerous magazine and newspaper articles on business and the use of computers in business.

Craig Roskos, FCA
Craig received his CA designation in 1988 and became a Partner at Ernst & Young LLP in 2002. In 2006, Craig was appointed the Office Managing Partner of the Winnipeg office.
Craig is also the Tax Leader of the Winnipeg office. Prior to his return to E&Y where he began his career in 1985, Craig was a Tax Partner with Andersen (1998-2002) and the CFO for a group of technology companies (1994-1998).
As Chair of the Institute’s Tax Committee, a position he has held since 2005, Craig participates in the Manitoba government’s “budget lock-up” and media coverage of the provincial budget. He has also been the Institute’s media contact for coverage of the federal budget and other taxation matters for the past five years.
Craig volunteers his time within the community. He is currently involved in the United Way Professions Leaders campaign and took part in the Children’s Wish Foundation Inaugural Exile Island in 2008 which raised in excess of $35,000 in one afternoon. He also makes time to assist the coaches for his children’s sports teams.

Fred de Koning, FCA
Fred qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1972 and obtained his CBV designation in 1991 after three years of study.
In 1993, Fred and four others formed Booke & Partners, Chartered Accountants. They began with 13 staff, including the founding partners, and now employ 35 people.
In his capacity as personnel partner for Booke & Partners, Fred has been actively involved in campus recruiting for the past 35 years. On campus for more than recruiting, Fred also taught courses for the University of Manitoba and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba in the 70’s.
Fred was a member of the Institute’s Discipline Process Review Task Force (2002-03) and also also served for many years on the Institute’s University Recruitment Committee.
Fred has been the President of the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights since it was established in 2002. He also mentored and coached youth soccer, including premier leagues from St. Boniface and St. Vital.

Gregory Doyle, FCA
Greg obtained his CA designation in 1976 and has held senior positions at Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG) from his earliest years. He was elected as a Partner in 1982 and Man¬aging Partner of the Winnipeg office in 1985. In 1996, Greg moved to Warsaw, Poland and assumed the role of Senior Partner of the Polish national practice until his retirement from KPMG in 2002.
Since retiring and returning to Winnipeg in 2003, Greg has been active in the business and volunteer community. He is currently serving as Chair of the Audit Committee of Bird Construction Income Fund and Huntingdon Real Estate Investment Fund. Greg also serves as Chair of Dorais Charities, a non-profit foundation of the Catholic Health Corporation of Manitoba.
Greg also volunteers his time as a board member and Treasurer of Prairie Theatre Ex¬change, Frontier College Foundation, and The Walker Theatre for the Performing Arts. Greg was actively involved with the retirement of the Walker’s once crippling debt and sustaining the operations during difficult financial times. He is now helping to take this financially stable organization to new levels.

Russell Holmes, FCA
Russ received his CA designation in 1976 and was made a Partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP in 1984. In 1991, Russ was appointed as the Director of Financial Advisory Operations in Winnipeg.
Russ has played a lead role in some of Manitoba’s highest profile and difficult business situations. In the late 1980’s, he oversaw the proposal and bankruptcy of Lynngold Re¬sources and led a sales process in an effort to seek buyers for the mine. In 1994 Russ was the Court appointed receiver manager to oversee the Rock Lake and Huron Colonies’ business operations for the duration of a leadership dispute.
Russ has been involved with a number of successful corporate restructurings. In 2005 was appointed by the Court of Queens Bench, upon the petition of the Manitoba Securities Commission, as the Receiver of the Crocus Investment Fund.
Russ has also been active in the Canadian Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Pro¬fessionals and he is a Past President of the Board of the Manitoba Division of the Canadian Cancer Society.

Rick MacKay, FCA
Rick acquired his CA designation in 1981 and became a Partner at Deloitte in 1987. He is currently the Director of Operations for the Accounting and Audit practice of the Deloitte office in Winnipeg and is the Partner responsible for professional services to a number of public companies based in Winnipeg.
Rick has also been very active in leadership roles as a volunteer in the community. He is currently the Treasurer, a member of the Executive and member of the Board of Directors of the Associates of the I.H. Asper School of Business.
Rick has played a leading role on a number of other organizations including being the Chair of the Economic Development Committee of the Pan-Am Games held in Winnipeg in 1999. Rick has served on the Boards of the United Way, the provincial and national Heart and Stroke Foundations and the Manitoba Museum.
Rick has been an active volunteer with the Institute since 1985. He is currently a member of the Institute Council and also serves on the Audit and Office Practice Assistance commit¬tees.

Catherine Rushton, FCA
Cathy received her CA designation in Ontario in 1982 and joined the Manitoba Institute in 1995. Upon moving to Winnipeg, she began with Red River College as Director, Financial Services and currently serves as Vice President, Finance and Administration where she is responsible for an operating budget of $130 million and a divisional staff of more than 250 people.
Dedicated to her community, Cathy currently serves on the Board and Finance Commit¬tee for the Open Access Resource Centre, the Audit Committee for the United Church of Canada Foundation, and as a Board member and Treasurer for the Canadian Animal Blood Bank Inc.
Cathy is also a Board member and Treasurer of CreComm Radio Inc., the independent not-for-profit organization that runs the College’s radio station CKIC KickFM, as well as serving on two national committees of the Association of Canadian Community Colleges.
Cathy has served as a member of the Institute’s Professional Conduct Committee (2001-07) and has participated in the “Day With a CA” program sponsored by the Institute.

André Couture, FCA
André qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1979 and was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for 15 years. In March 2000, he left PwC to start his own accounting firm. He has worked with the Auditor General of Canada on a comprehensive audit of the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development.
André's extensive community involvement includes serving on the boards of Collège Universitaire de Saint-Boniface, Junior Achievement of Manitoba, La Paroisse Cathédrale de Saint-Boniface, the Archdiocese of Saint-Boniface and the Francofonds Inc.
André served on the Institute's Office Practice Assistance Committee for seven years and chaired the committee from 2001-2004. He currently serves on the Discipline Committee.

William Eamer, FCA
Bill obtained his CA designation in 1975. His career included the public, private and not-for profit sectors. He retired as CEO at the Manitoba Society of Pharmacists.
Bill continues to be active in the community. He is the Treasurer of the Estate Planning Council of Winnipeg and also a Director of the Heart and Stroke Foundation, where he serves as Treasurer and Chair of the Audit Committee.
Bill has been involved in Institute activities for over 30 years in a number of capacities, and continues to serve on the Membership Committee and as a Director of the CA Foundation. His dedication to the CA profession is reflected not only in time dedicated to Council and committee service, but also in his financial contributions including the William G. Eamer CASB Award.

Saul Greenberg, FCA
Saul was admitted to membership in the Institute in 1978 and is currently a partner with Lazer Grant LLP.
Saul has served on the Board of the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue since 2000 and is currently the President. He has been a member of the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba Audit Committee from 2005 to the present as well as having served on the Glendale Country Club Board of Directors from 2004-2006. He has also served in various capacities with the Maple Leaf Curling Club, Ford World Curling Championships, Opportunities Inc. and the Manitoba Curling Association.
Saul served on the Institute’s Office Practice Assistance Committee from 1992 until 1998, and Professional Conduct Committee from 2001 to the present. He has chaired this committee since 2003.

Richard Pope, FCA
Richard became a member of the Institute in 1982 and is currently Managing Partner and CEO at Pope & Brookes, DFK LLP in Winnipeg.
He has been Treasurer and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce as well as Founder and Chairman of its Aboriginal Economic Development Committee. During his tenure there, he was the recipient of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce Director of the Year Award. He has been very active with Winnipeg Crime Stoppers, serving as, among other positions, Chairman of the Board and received the Manitoba Attorney General’s Crime Prevention Award for his contributions.
Richard was a tutor in the CICA in-depth tax course and has spoken and published articles for a variety of publications regarding various topics. He is currently a member of the Institute’s Council.

Richard Potter, FCA
Rick is an Assurance Partner with Meyers Norris Penny LLP and is the current President of the Manitoba Institute.
Rick's community involvement covers a wide range of activities including Children's Hospital Foundation, Ducks Unlimited, Manitoba Association of Community Arts Council and Junior Achievement. He also is a soccer and hockey coach at his community club.
Rick has shown a keen interest in the education of CAs by being a UFE Marker, and by serving on CICA's Board of Examiners and Competency Mapping Committee. He has been a CASB representative on the UFE provincial review for the past four years. In addition, he has served on a number of ICAM committees, including the Institute's Council since 2003.

Carol Bellringer, FCA
Carol acquired her CA designation from the Ontario Institute in 1982 and joined the Manitoba Institute in 1986. In July, Carol left her position as Director of Private Funding with the University of Manitoba and took the position of Auditor General of Manitoba.
Involved with various business, charitable and arts organizations in the community, Carol has been a member of the Audit Committee of CancerCare Manitoba, Chair of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and a member of the board and Chair of the Finance Committee for Manitoba Hydro.
Carol was Senior Advisor to the Finance Department, Media One International in Warsaw, Poland from 1997 to 1999. During that time she was also a member of the Canada Poland Business Club and served as Director, Communications (1998) and Vice-President (1999). She was also one of the founding members of the Canadian Circle of Warsaw and served as President from 2001-02.
Also active with several Manitoba Institute committees, Carol served on Council from 1993-96 and was Second Vice-President from 1995-96.

Jon Singleton, FCA
Jon recently retired as the Auditor General of Manitoba and is now a Corporate Director and Governance Advisor. He attained his CA in 1976 and earned his CISA designation in 2001.
During the past 10 years as Auditor General, Jon has participated in many discussion panels and has made a number of presentations on a variety of topics to many organizations in the public sector, education, and several professional associations.
In July 2001, Jon was appointed to the International Board of IT Governance Institute and is a current board member. He also serves on the board and Executive Committee of the Winnipeg Chapter of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Jon was International President of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) from 1995-96. Prior to becoming International President, Jon served as International Vice-President of CISA Certification.
In addition to his professional activities, Jon served as Treasurer of the Winnipeg Folk Festival for 14 years and was appointed a lifetime Honorary Board Member.

Carol Stockwell, FCA
Carol obtained her CA designation in 1977 and is now an Associate Partner and senior tax practitioner in the Winnipeg office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where she leads the transfer pricing and international assignment solutions areas.
Carol has developed presentations and spoken on a variety of tax matters to numerous organizations, including the Canadian Association of Family Enterprises, the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce and the Federal Business Development Bank.
Also active with the Manitoba Institute, Carol has served as Chair of the Taxation Committee, presenting the Institute's annual pre-budget submission to Manitoba's Minister of Finance and serving as a media spokesperson for the Institute following federal and provincial budgets.
Carol has been involved with various business, charitable, arts and sports organizations in the community. She currently serves on the Board and Executive of the Winnipeg Art Gallery Foundation and is a past Vice-President and Governor of the WAG. Her role in finance committees includes the Health Sciences Centre Foundation, Winnipeg Winter Club, and Child and Family Services of Winnipeg South.

Heather Clarke, FCA
Heather began her career with Clarkson Gordon in 1980 and received her CA designation in 1983. She joined Doane Raymond in 1988 and was admitted to partnership in 1990. From there, Heather moved to Meyers Norris Penny as a tax partner (1993-97) and was the firm's representative to the tax committee of Associated Accounting Firms International.
Heather joined Investors Group in 1998 and is currently Director, Advanced Financial Planning. She is responsible for co-management of the Tax and Estate Planning team and provides technical support and training to the sales force of 3500 consultants, helping to raise consumer awareness of the skills of a chartered accountant.
Heather has also presented for in-house, client and industry events on the topics of tax and estate planning at the local and national levels. Heather has presented at the national level for the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Canadian Association of Financial Planners, and The Strategy Institute.
Locally, Heather has made presentations for the Estate Planning Council of Winnipeg, the Manitoba Real Estate Board, the Women Business Owners of Winnipeg, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba, the Manitoba Department of Agriculture and the Women's Enterprise Centre.
Active in the community, Heather is currently Treasurer for RHS Childcare Inc. She has served on the Board of the Estate Planning Council of Winnipeg (1988-97) and was President in 1996. She was a founding member of the Manitoba Chapter of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and served as Secretary from 1998 to 2004. Heather has also served on the Board of WISH Inc. as Treasurer and was Chair (1985-88) and with the United Way of Winnipeg (1988-95) where she served on the Finance Committee (1988-93) and was Treasurer and VP Finance for 1992-93.
Heather is also active with the Manitoba Institute. She is currently a member of Council and has sat on the Taxation (1985-89, 1990-91), Membership (2001-03), Corporate Governance and Nominating (2003-04), and Audit (2004-present) Committees.

Larry Frostiak, FCA
Larry received his Bachelor of Science at the University of Manitoba in 1975, his Bachelor of Education in 1977, his CA designation in 1981 and his Certified Financial Planner designation in 1999. In 2000 Larry became a registered Trust Estate Practitioner and he and Ken Leslie founded the firm Frostiak & Leslie Chartered Accountants Inc.
He is a founding member of Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Winnipeg and served as Chair from its inception in 1999 through to 2004. Larry currently serves as National Treasurer on the Canadian executive of STEP with responsibilities for overseeing the finances for STEP Canada.
Larry is currently a member of the Winnipeg Estate Planning Council and served as President (1987-88). He also served as Treasurer of the National Association of Estate Planning Councils of Canada and as Chair of the Federal Finance Committee of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce.
Larry is a frequent speaker on tax and estate planning matters and has made presentations to many organizations, including the Manitoba Law Society, the Winnipeg Estate Planning Council and at the National Conference of STEP.
He has also authored many articles on taxation and estate planning and was the lead author on Practitioner's Guide to Trusts, Estates & Trust Returns published by Thomson Carswell and released in the fall of 2004. Larry has also instructed accounting courses with the Winnipeg School Division Continuing Education programs, the University of Manitoba - Daycare Director Accreditation Program and the CICA.
Supporting Winnipeg's arts community, Larry served as Treasurer and Vice-President (1996-2001) of Prairie Theatre Exchange. He was instrumental in maintaining PTE's fiscal stability during several challenging years in the arts community and was active in the capital fundraising program for PTE during their move from Princess Street to Portage Place.
Larry is currently a member of the Manitoba Institute's Taxation Committee and is a frequent volunteer for its Senior Citizen's Tax Clinic Program.

Bruce Jack, FCA
Bruce obtained his CA designation in 1976. He became a partner with Touche Ross in 1984 and since then he has served as audit partner for several significant Winnipeg organizations, including The Great-West Life Assurance Company and the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.
Within Deloitte, Bruce has served as the Professional Practice Director for the Winnipeg office since 2002. In this capacity, he provides leadership on all matters of independence, GAAP consultation and professional matters. He also served as the partner responsible for HR matters for three years.
Immersed in the community, Bruce has been involved in business, charitable, arts and children's organizations. He has served as Treasurer of Junior Achievement Manitoba, Prairie Theatre Exchange, the Niakwa Country Club, the Manitoba Children's Museum, and as Treasurer and Vice-President of the Manitoba division of the Canadian Cancer Society.
Bruce has also volunteered significant time to the Boards of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, the United Way of Winnipeg and the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra.
Throughout his career, Bruce's involvement in the community is mirrored in his participation in professional activities. Bruce has been involved in various aspects of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba since 1979 and is currently a member of the Council.
He has served as Chair of the University Recruitment (1990-94) and Student Education Planning and Course Content (1992-93) committees and has been a member of the CA Assistance Committee for 13 years.
He is currently a member of the Office Practice Assistance Committee and has served on numerous Institute committees, including Student Recruitment (1980-83), Members Activities (1983-85) and Student Education (1992-93).
Bruce was also appointed to serve as one of two CA representatives on the Advisory Committee to the Manitoba Securities Commission.

Tom Bryk, FCA
After training with Price Waterhouse, Tom Bryk successfully completed the 1983 UFE and was admitted to membership in the Institute in 1984. As President and Chief Executive Officer of Cambrian Credit Union, Tom has distinguished himself as a Chartered Accountant in his professional career by rising to the highest position within his organization.
Tom has brought great respect and honour to his profession through his tireless efforts in community and professional activities. He has made significant contributions to a variety of organizations that include the arts, economic, business, charitable, sports, medical and cultural organizations. And in doing so, he is always proud to let it be known that he is a Chartered Accountant.
In the community, Tom was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Winnipeg Airport Authority and is a member of its audit committee. In addition, he is a member of the United Way Winnipeg Campaign Cabinet. He is currently the Incoming Campaign Chair and Deputy Campaign Chair of Leadership Giving. He previously served as Division Chair, Trade and Finance for three years.
Tom also serves on the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and has been a member of its Finance Committee. In addition, he has served as VP Finance of the Phoenix Soccer Club since its inaugural season.
He has been extensively involved with the Holy Family Nursing Home as Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee as well as First Vice-Chair and a member of the Executive Committee. Tom also served as the Chair of Finance and Audit Committee for the Mount Carmel Clinic Board of Directors and a member of its Executive Committee.
Tom has been involved in the Ukrainian community as well serving as a committee member of the National Finance Committee of the Ukrainian Canadian Committee and Secretary-Treasurer of the Ukrainian National Federation Board of Directors. Tom was also the Secretary-Treasurer of the Rusalka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble Board of Directors.
Tom has participated in committees locally, nationally and internationally in the Credit Union movement. In the Manitoba Credit Union System he has served on and chaired the Technology Advisory Committee, and been a member of the System Credit, Marketing Advisory and Management Advisory Committees. At the national level, he was involved in committees working on the National Initiative Project in both Phase I and II of the initiative.
Internationally, Tom served as one of nine Canadian delegates involved in a project that ultimately led to the establishment of a credit union system in the Ukraine in the early 1990's.

Kent Haugen, FCA
Kent is a Partner with the firm Haugen Morrish Angers, Chartered Accountants in The Pas, Manitoba. He did not, however, take the "normal" approach to becoming a CA that most young students take as he began his career in the automotive industry where he served as the comptroller and general manager for a car dealer in Northern Manitoba. At that time he obtained his CGA designation.
In 1986, however, he joined Stan Reid's firm in The Pas and decided to pursue the CA designation, which he obtained in 1993 after picking up all of the necessary prerequisite courses. He subsequently obtained his US CPA designation in 1996 and the Certified Financial Planner's designation in 1998. In 2003 he qualified as a Trust and Estate Practitioner and a Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager.
He has been actively involved in Institute activities since obtaining his designation serving on the High School Awards Committee, the Public Relations Committee (and its CA Scholarship Subcommittee), the Student Education Committee (and its Planning and Course Content Subcommittee) and the Taxation Committee.
Kent is a very community minded individual and, as with his career, he contributes a 100% effort in this area. He gives tirelessly to try and improve The Pas and the entire North and has held many volunteer leadership positions in his home town.
He has been both Treasurer (for 11 years) and President (two terms) of The Pas Rotary Club. In recognition for his leadership and contributions Kent was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship by The Pas Rotary Club. This is the highest honour that can be bestowed upon a Rotary member.
Kent served on The Pas Hospital Board as both Treasurer and Vice Chair. He was also Treasurer and later President of The Pas Handi-Van.
In addition, Kent was a member of the Management Steering Committee of Keewatin Community College and has been an Elder and Trustee at Redeemer Lutheran Church in The Pas. Finally, Kent was recently appointed by the Minister of Finance to serve on the Manitoba Crown Corporations Board of Directors. In 2002, he received the CGA Manitoba Community Service Award.
Kent is continually acting as a spokesperson for the CA profession to young people of the North where he takes great pride in explaining the dedication and commitment necessary to obtain the CA designation.

Charles Henaire, FCA
After training with Touche Ross (now Deloitte & Touche LLP), Charles obtained his CA designation in 1991. In 1994 he left the firm to join The Great-West Life Assurance Company. In 10 short years Charles has assumed various roles of increasing responsibility at GWL and he has recently assumed the position of Vice-President and Controller.
Community involvement and leadership are very important to Charles, as shown by his extensive volunteer activities. He was involved with the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba throughout the 1990's serving as a Board Member from 1991-95 including terms as its Treasurer as well as a member of the Executive Committee. He currently serves on the Nominating Committee and was a member of the Y2K team and served as a volunteer for the Great Escape Gala fundraising dinner.
Charles also served on the Board of Prairie Theatre Exchange in the mid 1990's including a term as Treasurer and Executive Committee member. He was also the Treasurer and Executive Committee member of the Treasury Management Association of Canada - Manitoba Chapter from 1994-96.
Since obtaining his designation, Charles has been very involved in Institute committees and activities. He served on the Members Activities Committee from 1992-97, the last year as its Chair. From 1993-95 he was involved with the High School Awards Program and participated as a CA Career Symposium Representative in 1993-94.
He was very interested in supporting student education and was a marker for the Manitoba Institute courses from 1994-98. From 1995-97, Charles served as the Manitoba representative for the CICA UFE review process.
In 1996 Charles decided to seek a position on the Institute's Council and he has served continuously on Council from then until the present time where he is currently the Institute's President. He is also the Chair of the Western First Officers group, which is comprised of the senior elected and staff officers of the four Western Provincial Institutes and the Territories. Charles is also a member of the Council of Presidents, which is the senior elected officers of the Provincial Institutes and CICA.
While a member of Council, he has also served on or chaired numerous Council committees, including the Nominating, Risk Policy, Executive and Corporate Governance & Nominating Committees.
He was one of the first recipients of the Early Achievement Award when it was introduced in 2001 and is now the first recipient of that award who has been further recognized by his peers with the election as a Fellow.

John Kelly, FCA
John was admitted to membership in the Institute in 1977 after placing first in Manitoba and 11th in Canada on the UFE that year. He is currently the Office Managing Partner of Scarrow & Donald LLP.
John is well known in the profession for his commitment to quality education at both the student and member levels. He was a member of the Professional Development (PD) Committee in 1978-79 and again from 1989 to 1994. John has presented courses in the Institute's PD program since 1993.
John was an elected student member of the Student Education Committee in 1976-77 and then, after graduation, a member of that Committee in 1980-81. He was a regular lecturer in the Institute's student program between 1981 and 2001 as well in the U of M's Masters of Accountancy Program.
John was a marker in the ICAM program from 1979-84 and at the UFE Marking Centre from 1978-85. From 1981-85, he was a Team Leader at the UFE Marking Centre. John was a member of the Long Range Educational Planning Committee in 1990-91 and a member of the ICAM's Education Reengineering Task Force from 1997-99.
John was involved with the High School Awards Program in 1982 and 1984 and served on the University Recruitment Committee from 1998 to 2002. As well he participated in the Senior Citizens Tax Assistance Program from 1980-82.
John was elected to Council in 1999 and served on it for four years including two years as Secretary-Treasurer and a member of the Executive Committee. While a member of Council, he also served on the Human Resources Committee for two years and chaired the Risk Policy Committee from 2001-03.
John has also had a keen interest in standard setting as evidenced by his participation in various roles with CICA. He was a member of the Auditing Standards Board from 1990 to 1994, and was Chair of Western Section and a member of the Auditing Standards Steering Committee from 1990 to 1992. He was Chair of the Illegal Acts Task Force from 1990-94.
He has also given to the community. He has volunteered in community sports, including serving as manager for a South End United premier soccer team for three years. From 1979-82 he was a Board member and Finance Chairman for the Winnipeg Regional Housing Authority. From 1986-88, John served on the Board of the Osteoporosis Society of Canada - Manitoba Chapter. John was a Board member of the of St. John's-Ravenscourt School between 1996 and 2000.
He also served on the Board of Governors at the University of Manitoba from 1981-85 including two years as Chair of the Finance Committee. In 1984-85, John served on the Institutional Self-Study and Accreditation Survey, Central Task Force in the Faculty of Medicine at U of M.

Catherine Kloepfer, FCA
Having successfully completed the UFE in 1985, Catherine was admitted to membership in 1987 after completing her practical experience requirements. She is an Associate Partner in the Winnipeg office of KPMG LLP. Catherine authored the KPMG Audit Course for Canada and is a member of the firm's Financial Services Practice Steering Committee.
Catherine is also a member of the Certified General Accountants Association of Manitoba and was an inaugural award recipient of the CGA Manitoba Sharing Expertise Award in 2001. She is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Active in the community, Catherine served as Treasurer for the Manitoba Composers Association from 1988-90 as well as Treasurer for the Manitoba Historical Society in 1990-91. She served on the Winnipeg Arts Advisory Council from 1991-93 and chaired the Council in the 1992-93. Catherine served for several years on the Board of the Western Canadian Aviation Museum, including two years as Treasurer and in 1992-93 as President. She also spent three years as a Finance Representative for the Pan Am Games from 1996-99.
She was involved in various leadership roles for many years at the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce. In 1995 she chaired the Civic Liaison Committee and from 1999-2002, she was Treasurer. Last year she concluded her term as President of the Winnipeg Chamber.
Catherine has also taken the time to give back to her profession. She served on the Urban Hospitals Audit Review Committee in 1997-98. As well, she was a member of the Student Education Committee from 1988-90 and served on its Admission and Appeals Subcommittee for one year and the Planning and Course Content Subcommittee for another. Catherine was also involved in the High School Awards program in 1988.

Chris Couture, FCA
Chris received her CA in 1986 and is currently a Partner, Audit and Business dvisory Services (ABAS) with ricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Chris was admitted to partnership in July of 2000 and in addition to client service responsibilities, she is also responsible for Human Resources as well as Learning and Education for the ABAS Group.
Active in the community, Chris is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the United Way of Winnipeg, Chair of the Winnipeg Folk Festival Fundraising Dinner, and a member of the Starry Night Fundraising Dinner Committee – Corporate Campaign for Juvenile Diabetes.
Other organizations have benefited from her involvement, including the Salvation Army Agape Hospice Fundraising Committee (2001-2002) and the Grace General Hospital Board of Management (1993-2002) where she served as Chair of the Finance and Administrative Committee (1994-1999) and was Chair of the Board from 1999-2002.
Chris has also served as Treasurer of the Women's Post Treatment Project (1986-1988) and has volunteered with the Children's Hospital Research Fund Teddy Bear's Picnic for several years.
Strongly supporting women in business, Chris has been Advisor and Due Diligence Coordinator for the Manitoba Female Entrepreneur of the Year Awards (1995-2000), regional due diligence representative for the Canadian Female Entrepreneur of the Year Awards (1994-1998), and has lectured at the Women in Math and Sciences Careers Symposium (1987-1988).
Also making time to give back to the profession, Chris is currently Chair of the CICA Competency Map Committee and was also a member of the Syllabus Subcommittee. Chris has also served as a member of the Manitoba Institute’s Council (1997-1999) and has sat on the Honors and Awards (1999-2002), Office Practice Assistance (1997-1999) Student Education (1991-1997), Human Resources (1998-1999), Members' Activities (1987-1988), and High School Awards (1995) Committees.

Keith Findlay, FCA
Keith received his CA in 1984 and is currently a Partner with Scarrow & Donald LLP. With an evident love of sports, Keith was Treasurer of the 1991 Grey Cup Festival, team manager and tournament treasurer for the Manitoba Lighting AAA Hockey organization, in addition to acting as a hockey coach/manager and organizer of hockey orientation camps for the Roblin Park Community Centre.
Active in the community, Keith has served as a Board member of the Winnipeg Hospital Authority where he was Vice-Chair of the Finance Committee and a member of WHA/HSC Transition Team. He is also a Board member of the Health Sciences Centre and has served as Board Chair of the Misericordia Hospital Foundation.
Keith is one of four founding members of the Broadway Club , an organization for young PCs and has served as Campaign Chair and/or Campaign Treasurer for many provincial, civic, and school trustee campaigns.
Also a firm believer is supporting education, Keith has served as Chair and Vice Chair of the University of Manitoba Board of Governors. At the U of M he has also served as Chair of the Finance, Collective Bargaining, Senior Salaries, and the Management Resources and Compensation Committees. He has also Chaired the Ad Hoc Committee to Review Internal Governance and the Presidential Advisory Committee on Long Range Development of the Faculty of Management in addition to sitting on numerous other committees. For his work at the U of M, Keith has received the U of M Distinguished Service Award and the U of M Students' Union Award of Appreciation.
Giving back to the profession, Keith has given many presentations to different groups and organizations relating to the accounting and has served on the Manitoba Institute's High School Awards, Student Education, and Public Relations Committees.

LeVan Hall, FCA
Van obtained his CA in 1965, joined the Manitoba Institute in 1976 and is currently a Partner with his practice, Hall Molgat, Public Accountants. He has been in public practice as a Chartered Accountant for over 22 years, with a focus on First Nations and Aboriginal organizations.
Van also has extensive overseas experience in less developed countries. He has worked in Nepal, India, Mali, Tanzania, Ghana, Uganda, Indonesia and in several Caribbean islands, assisting in designing or restructuring financial systems, computerizing accounts and training staff. He has also performed project evaluation, management and review services in these countries on behalf of the Canadian International Development Agency, the World University Services, the International Development Research Centre and the World Bank.
In addition to his professional duties, Van is currently serving as Vice-Chair of the Manitoba Lotteries Commission and was recently appointed Treasurer of the North South Institute. He has also served as Chair of Assiniboine Credit Union's Investment and Audit Committees (1991-1997), Chair of Typewest (1978-1982), Vice-Chair of Flyer Industries Ltd. (1983-1986), and has sat on the boards of many other organizations.
Van has been a teacher throughout his professional career. He was Assistant Professor at the School of Business, Memorial University (1969-72) and professor and Chair of the Department of Accountancy and Finance at the Institute of Finance Management, Tanzania, (1974-75).
Focusing primarily on Aboriginal students, Van taught Planning, Budgeting and Accounting for the Faculty of Continuing Education at the University of Manitoba (1984-1996), and helped design and teach finance and planning and project evaluation to Metis and First Nations community staff (1985-87).
As a member of the Manitoba Institute, Van has been a member of various committees over the years. He also chaired the Ad Hoc Committee to Review Liability Insurance (CICA Coral Report) in 1988-89.

Richard Olfert, FCA
After receiving his CA designation in 1988, Richard rapidly progressed in his public practice career and was admitted to the partnership of Deloitte & Touche in 1995. Richard served as the Winnipeg Office Director of Attest & Advisory Services from 1999-2002 and was recently appointed the Winnipeg office Managing Partner.
Richard served as Manitoba's representative to the Board of Examiners of the CICA from 1993-97 and in 2000-02, he was appointed Chair of the Board of Evaluators. In addition to the regular three-year term as a BOE member, Richard agreed to extend his term as past chair to assist the BOE through a transitional year and help finalize the development of the evaluation process for the new competency-based Uniform Evaluation (UFE).
As Chair of the BOE, Richard was charged with the responsibility for developing a competency referenced evaluation model for the UFE. He led the Board through a process that included brainstorming sessions, think tanks, and countless meetings and the evaluation model that resulted in the new UFE that was written for the first time this fall. It has been embraced by the profession and the academic community.
Part of the consultation process involved Richard traveling to the various regions of Canada to present the new Uniform Evaluation scheme and its grading methodology. In June 2002, on behalf of the profession, Richard presented the new UFE evaluation model at a Canadian Academic Accounting Association conference in Montreal. Through his involvement with the BOE, he has devoted, and continues to devote innumerable volunteer hours to making a significant contribution to the development and delivery of professional accounting education in Canada.
Active in the community as well, Richard has served for five years as a member of the Board of Directors, Commercial Loans and Audit Committee, and executive member of the Crosstown Credit Union. He has served as Chair of the organizing committee for the 1996 Mennonite Economic Development Associates global convention and is currently a Trustee of the Fort Garry Mennonite Brethren Church.

Tom Stefanson, FCA
Tom received his CA in 1963 and is currently Chair of Manitoba Telecom Services, Inc. He served as the full-time Executive Chair MTS from 1989-2000. During that time, Tom was instrumental in developing the company's strategic direction and in the privatization process of MTS in 1996, one of the most successful privatizations in Canadian history.
Continuing as the Chair of MTS, Tom has been a member of all Board committees of MTS. Prior to his involvement with MTS, Tom spent approximately 20 years in public practice after graduation and also was a successful businessman and entrepreneur with involvement in several private companies in the 1980s.
Active in the community, Tom is currently serving on the Urban Issues Committee with the Manitoba Business Council and is a member of the Maestro's Circle with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, the President's Circle with the Winnipeg Ballet and the Campaign Cabinet of the Winnipeg Humane Society.
Tom has also served on the Board of Directors and Finance Committee of the Rossbrooke House for 25 years (1978-current) and on the Board of the Winnipeg Ballet for two years in the late 1990s.
With an interest in politics, Tom has been actively involved in many advisor capacities, fundraising activities and party committees - including Official Agent, Chief Fundraiser, Campaign Manager, and the 1986-88 Party Advisory Committee for the Progressive Conservative Party.
Tom was also a lecturer for the Department of Education in the 1960s and served on the Education Advisory Board, an advisory committee to Dr.George Johnson, Education Minister with the Roblin government.

Gus Campbell, FCA
Gus received his CA designation in1972 and is currently a partner in the Winnipeg office of Ernst & Young LLP. In addition to his regular duties, Gus has acted as the Audit Practice Leader, Recruiting Team Leader, and the liaison between the Winnipeg office and the National Accounting & Auditing Group on technical matters.
Gus has continuously given back to the profession through his work with the Institute. Serving on various committees since 1982, Gus has been a member of Council since 1999. He's also Director of the Manitoba Chartered Accountants Foundation (2002) and was Chair of the Audit Committee (2001-2002).
Gus has contributed to the community through his involvement with a number of organizations. He is currently Chair-Elect and Senior Vice-Chair on the Board of Trustees of United Way of Winnipeg and has served on various committees, task groups and working groups with them since 1998.
Gus has also served on the Manitoba Theatre Centre Board of Trustees (1990-1999) during which time he sat on several committees and was President from 1994-1996. For his work with MTC, Gus was awarded the MTC Lifetime Award for Outstanding Service.
Gus was a founding member of the Rotary Club of Winnipeg - Central A.M. branch (1990-1993) and was instrumental in establishing and running a sailing school (Zig Zag Yacht Club) in Lake of the Woods. He has served on committees and the Board of Governors with St. John's-Ravenscourt School (1982-1993) and has been actively involved with St. Andrews River Heights United Church since 1970.

William Fraser, FCA
Bill obtained his CA in 1972 and is currently President and CEO of MTS (1994-2002). He led the privatization process to transform MTS from a Crown Corporation to a major Canadian public company. Bill was Vice-President, Finance at MTS (1986-1994), has been a member of the Board of Directors of Telesat (1994-1997), and is currently a Board member of Bell West (2002).
Bill has served in senior leadership positions throughout his career. He was Assistant Deputy Minister of Finance and Provincial Controller for Manitoba (1981-1986) and from 1979 to 1981, he was Director General, Finance, with the Department of Agriculture for the Government of Canada.
Calling on his professional expertise, Bill has also generously volunteered much of his time to various Boards and organizations. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of The Conference Board of Canada (1998-2002), the Board of Directors of the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships (1999-2002), and as a fundraising volunteer for the Neeginan Foundation Inc. (2001).
Bill was a member of the CICA Public Sector Committee in the late 1970s and while he was Controller for the Province of Manitoba he was a member of a national committee to assess public sector accounting standards in Canada.
Bill speaks annually at various Winnipeg groups, including the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Clubs, MBA classes at the University of Manitoba, Red River College, and the Manitoba Chamber of Commerce. He also acts as a speaker at several industry conferences each year throughout Canada.

James Kraemer, FCA
Jamie received his CA designation in 1983 and is currently a partner in TFI Services Ltd., a company that specializes in tax, financial planning, and investment counseling. Jamie is the current President of ICAM and has served on Council since 1997. His involvement with the Institute has involved serving on many committees, including Professional Development (1994-1995), Members Activities (1995-1997), Risk Policy (1997-2000), Professional Conduct (Council Liaison, 1998-2000), and Human Resources (2000-2001).
Jamie was the ICAM representative on the Leave A Legacy Program Steering Committee (1998-present), has volunteered with the Senior Citizens Tax Clinic, and has been a course instructor for ICAM professional development courses.
With an evident love of sports, Jamie has volunteered with the Manitoba Football Officials Association (1975-1995), including a term as Treasurer (1980-198), Vice-President (1982-1984), and President (1984-1986). He has also worked with the Canadian Football League (1988-1996) as an on-field official. Involved in sports on a local level, Jamie has also spent time coaching amateur hockey and baseball teams.
A firm believer in giving back to the community, Jamie has served as President (2001-2002), Vice-President (1999-2001), and Treasurer for the Volunteer Centre of Winnipeg. He has also served on the Board of the Assiniboia Christian Care Centre Inc. (1993-present) as Treasurer (1994-2000), Chair (2000-2002), and President.
Jamie was President of the St. James Business Club (1996-1997) and an executive member of the Estate Planning Council of Winnipeg. He has also co-authored articles for the Bar Admission Course for the Law Society of Manitoba (1986-2001).

Jeff Morton, FCA
Jeff became a CA in 1983 and is currently Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Piston Ring Service Supply. He has held several leadership positions during his professional career including Senior Vice-President of Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer with Inner-Tec Security Consultants Ltd. (2000-2001) and Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer with National Leasing Group (1993-1999).
Jeff has made the time to participate in Institute activities. He was elected to the ICAM Council this year is now a member of the Risk Policy Committee. He sat on the Members Activities Committees (1992-1993) and has also been a featured speaker at high school and university student recruitment events.
Jeff has volunteered with several organizations in our community including Manitoba Theatre Centre where he served as President (2000-2002), Treasurer (1997-2000), as well as Chair of the Nominating (2002) and Finance (1997-2000) committees.
He was a member of the Board of Directors and Executive of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba (1994-1996) where he served as Chair of the Fundraising Committee (1996), the Winnipeg Campaign (1993-1995), and the Business Campaign (1991-1993).
Jeff has been a member of the Winnipeg Chapter of the Financial Executives International since 1992, serving as President from 1996-1997. He was also a member of the National Board of Directors of FEI (1998-2001) and Chair for the National Conference (1998).
Many other organizations have benefitted from his involvement, including the Canadian Finance & Leasing Association, the Automotive Wholesale Distributors Association, the Winnipeg International Children's Festival, and the Winnipeg Library Foundation Inc.

Michael Ruta, FCA
Michael received his CA in 1979 and is currently Corporate Controller for the City of Winnipeg, a position he has held since 1998. During his career, Michael has held several senior positions, including Manager of Impala Agencies (1997-1998), Senior Manager with Deloitte & Touche (1988-1997), Manager, Commercial Lending, with the National Bank of Canada (1986-1987), and Senior Manager with Price Waterhouse (1976-1986).
Michael has contributed to the profession by volunteering with ICAM. He served on Council (1987-1991) and was Chair of the Taxation (1989-1990), Public Relations (1987-1988), and Technical & Research Committees (1988-1989) in addition to serving on many other committees with the Institute.
Active in the community, Michael is the founder and President of the Winnipeg Minor basketball Association (1997-present), a league which has grown to 180 teams with over 1,800 children participating.
He has served as President of the Age & Opportunity Centre (1982-1987), President and Membership Chair of the Ukrainian Professional & Business Club (1984-1985), and Treasurer of the West Kildonan Community Centre (1976-1978). Michael is also a co-founder of the Ukrainian Business and Professional Foundation.
Sports Manitoba awarded Michael with Volunteer of the Year (1997) and in 2001 he was named Ukrainian Sportsman of the Year.
Michael has prepared many articles for publication with local business magazines and newspapers and was a lecturer for ICAM (1983-1984) and the University of Manitoba (1981) on tax matters. He was a regular columnist for the Times Colonist newspaper in Victoria and while there he founded and was President of the Accpac Users Group (1991-1996).

Glen Dyrda, FCA
Glen received his CA in 1981 and is currently Managing Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Winnipeg. He spent two years in PwC's London, England office (1985-87). While there Glen assisted in the development of PwC's World Firm's Canada/U.K. business liaison function as well as maintaining senior audit responsibilities.
Glen has served on the following committees with the Institute: University Recruitment (Chair 1996-97), Technical and Research (1988-90), Student Education (1983-1985), High School Awards (1981-1982), and the Student Education Admissions and Appeals Subcommittee (1982-1985, Chair 1984-1985).
Supporting the arts, Glen has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Manitoba Theatre Centre since 1999. He is currently serving on MTC's Endowment Fund Cabinet and was a member of the Executive Committee, Chair of the Finance Committee, and Treasurer (2000-01).
The Canadian Cancer Society has also benefited from Glen's involvement. He served on the Board of Directors (1990-96) and during that time was Chair of the Fiscal Stability Task Force (1994-95), Treasurer (1990-93), and Chair of the Management and Finance Subcommittee (Chair 1990-93). He was also on the National Finance Committee and National Office Finance Committee (1990-93) for the Canadian Cancer Society.
Glen has also volunteered with the United Way of Winnipeg as a member of the Accounting and Auditing Sub-committee (1988-90), the Agency Allocations Committee (1982-84), and served on the ad hoc committee which studied the long-term impact of the amalgamation of the YMCA and YWCA.
Glen served as Sport Chair for Baseball, Softball, Soccer and Rollersports for the 1999 Pan Am Games (1995-99) and was Corporate Fundraiser with the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation (1996-99).

Lawrence Hurtig, FCA
Larry obtained his CA designation in 1962 and is currently President of Chartered Financial Services Inc. and Vice-President of A.S.H. Management Group Inc.
Active in the Jewish community, Larry is currently President of the Asper Jewish Community Campus Corporation. He is Past President of the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg/ Combined Jewish Appeal and served a term as Vice-President and Chair of the Budget and Allocations Committee.
Larry is a founding member of Shalom Residences Inc., (1979-present) and during that time has served as President, Vice-President, and Treasurer. He is currently President of the associated Shalom Residences Foundation Inc.
He is Past President of B'Nai Brith, Past Co-chair of Talmud Torah/Joseph Wolinsky fundraising programs in conjunction with the Manitoba Lotteries Commission, and has served on the board of Jewish Child and Family Services.
Working extensively with associations serving people with physical and mental disabilities, Larry is a founding member of the board of Versatech Industries Inc. and Versatech Charitable Foundation Inc. He was a board member of Versatech Industries (1986-97) and during that time served as President, Vice-President, and Secretary Treasurer. He served on the board of Versatech Charitable Foundation Inc. (1988-92, 1995-2001) acting as President and Treasurer in 1986.
Larry was Vice-President of the Association of Canadian Real Estate Syndicators (1994), and a member of the Estate Planning Council of Winnipeg (1972-83, President 1981-82).
Recognized not only by the Institute for his work in the community, Larry was recipient of the Sol Kanee Distinguished Community Service Medal and nominated for the Order of Manitoba in 2001.

Paul Kochan, FCA
Paul received his CA in 1984 and is currently Chief Administrative Officer and Vice-President of Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.
He is also President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba (2001-02) and has been a member of Council since 1993.
Paul has been involved with the Institute since receiving his designation. He began by serving on the High School Awards Committee (1985) and since then has been involved in the following committees: Members in Industry Government and Education (1986-87), Technical and Research (1987-90), Professional Development (1990-95, Deputy Chair 1993-94, Chair 1994-95), Membership (1996-97), Student Education (1996-2000, Deputy Chair 1996-97), Student Education Admissions and Appeals Subcommittee (Chair 1996-97), and Human Resources (Chair 1997-2001).
He has also served on the Multi-disciplinary Task Force (1995-96) and was Chair of the Specialization Task Force (1997-99). Dedicating time to the community as well, Paul volunteered with the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra from 1988-92, during which he served a term as Vice-President, Fundraising (1989-91).
He has also served with the Ukrainian Cultural and Educational Center (1993-1996, Treasurer 1994-96) and was Chair of the United Way Employee Campaign (1995-97).

Stanley Reid, FCA
Stan received his CA in 1957. Living in northern Manitoba, he is self-employed and associated with Haugen Morrish.
For the better part of four decades Stan has provided high-quality public accounting service to points as far north as Churchill and South Indian Lake. He has represented the profession in First Nations' communities and rural municipalities in northern Manitoba.
While living in The Pas, Stan has been active in Institute activities. He is Director of the Manitoba Chartered Accountants Foundation (1997-2002), and has served on the Professional Development Committee (1984-86, 1993-97), the PD Compliance Subcommittee (1996-97), the PD Programs Sub-committee (1993-94), and the High School Awards Committee (1974-76, 1982-84, 1985).
As the only CA in town, and one of only a few in Northern Manitoba, Stan's workload did not keep him from being actively involved in the community. He served as Councillor/Deputy Mayor of The Pas (1963-76). His financial and organizational expertise contributed to the establishment of The Pas Indian and Metis Friendship Centre and his fiscal guidance helped to create the municipal Centennial Park.
Stan has also served as Chair of The Pas Public Library (1977-81), Deputy Chair of The Pas Centennial Committee (1966), Secretary of The Pas Rotary Club (1958-1963), was a member of the Executive and Treasurer of Northern Manitoba Trappers Festival (1958-60) and served as Treasurer of The Pas Chamber of Commerce (1958-60).
The Institute is not the only organization to acknowledge Stan's commitment. In recognition of his dedication and hard work, Stan received the Town of The Pas Citizenship Award in 1986.

Gerry Rodrigue, FCA
Gerry received his CA in 1972 and joined the Alberta Institute in 1989. He is currently a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Winnipeg.
As a manager and partner with Warms, Rogers, Wright, Gerry was instrumental in taking Western Canada Lottery Distributors from its inception in 1976 to its purchase by the government in 1984.
A member of the Institute Council since 1997, Gerry is currently Second Vice-President of ICAM. He served as Secretary Treasurer of Council from 1999-2001 and has been Chair of the Risk Policy Committee (1999-2001), Chair of the University Recruitment Committee (1994-96), and a member of the Student Education Committee (1974-78).
Active in Manitoba health-care, Gerry is Director of St. Boniface General Hospital (1999-present), Vice Chair of St. Boniface's Finance Committee (1999-present), and Director of the Board for St. Boniface General Hospital Parkade Inc. (2000-present).
He also served as Director of the St. Boniface General Hospital Research Foundation (1991-2000), Chair of Finance Committee (1998-99), and in 1994 led a subcommittee to develop the Foundation's first comprehensive planned giving program, which is successful today.
During his term as Director of the Canadian Deafblind & Rubella Association (1984-91) Gerry's lobbying of the provincial government resulted in the establishment of Intervention Manitoba Inc.
Gerry was Director of Maison Teresa, a facility for francophone abused women (1992-1993) and Director of the Citizenship Council of Manitoba & the international Centre of Winnipeg (1988-91).
From the mid-eighties to mid-nineties Gerry presented annual seminars to dental students of the University of Manitoba Dental School on accounting and tax issues relating to dental practitioners.
