In addition to fulfilling the requirements for a specialist designation, Manitoba CAs who wish to describe themselves as CA-designated specialists and use the corresponding symbol must register in the specialty register of the Manitoba Institute.
An annual declaration must be filed stating that you continue to devote a significant percentage of time to your specialty and continue professional development relevant to it.
